Experience

Rajeev Kuruganti brings in over seventeen years experience in Information Technology in applications, software development, design, architecture and integration for small, medium and fortune 100 businesses; in various operating systems and environments. He has led teams on site and off-shore to successfully complete projects and resolve immediately any issues. He has taught, trained and has been awarded by his peers as an exceptional seminar speaker in IT topics.

Rajeev has has designed and implemented Property Management System (PMS) with SQLServer, Access, Oracle and MySQL databases; developed code for Home Owners application to view their accounts and reservations for resort management companies. He has integrated various PMS systems as to communicate data with each other using Java Web Services on a J2EE and non-J2EE platforms. He has worked with vendors to provide them booking, availability data information dynamically and also receive requests and responses for hotel, resort booking. He has developed customized applications for hotel owners, users and customers to enhance profitability and save costs in the hospitality industry.

Rajeev holds Masters degree in Applied Mathematics from University of Wyoming and has studied in Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay. He has given various seminars at several universities and is a Dale Carnegie graduate.

EXPERIENCE

Kevin is one of the firm’s founding members. He began his career with Richards & O’Neil in New York City then practiced with Holme Roberts & Owen before opening Jacobs Chase with Paul Jacobs, Jeff Chase, Ann Frick and Dave Kleinkopf.

Kevin’s practice is focused on the development of mixed-use, master planned resort communities and condominium hotels. He assists his clients in structuring land use, zoning and other entitlements, community organization and governance, infrastructure development and building construction, marketing and sales, leasing and finance.

Kevin also has significant experience in the acquisition, development, financing, leasing and disposition of vacant lands, industrial parks, retail shopping centers, office buildings, hotels and sports facilities.

His clients include Intrawest, Starwood Capital Group, The Blackstone Group and Joseph Freed and Associates, LLC.

He and his wife have two daughters. In his spare time he enjoys time with his family, tennis, golf, skiing and soccer.

Ms. Sage is a twenty-two year hospitality industry veteran with executive level experience in local, regional and corporate sales & marketing as well as hotel operations experience. Before joining EpicenterSpark Hospitality, Ms. Sage was employed with ResortQuest International as Western Regional Director of Sales and Marketing. Her background spans multiple sales and marketing positions including Vice President of Marketing and Corporate Director of Sales and Marketing for East West Resorts, Director of Marketing for Beaver Run Resort and Conference Center, and Corporate Direct of Leisure Sales for Village Resorts. Her hotel management experience includes General Manager of Loews Denver Hotel and the Oxford Hotel, Denver. She holds a BA degree in Microbiology from Indiana University. Ms. Sage is a member of the Colorado Hotel & Lodging Association and has served on numerous boards throughout her career.

Lynette Hegeman brings to EpicenterSpark Hospitality a unique combination of services and experience that spans both the hospitality and real estate markets. As Principal of Red Spark Marketing, she specializes in creating and executing sales and marketing strategies for resorts, condo-hotels, urban projects, commercial, senior living and mixed use developments. In addition, her expertise includes working with developers on project assessment, market research and key development trends such as architecture, interior design and commercial casting. This experience, coupled with her many years of hospitality sales and marketing will be a direct compliment to the development and condo projects EpicenterSpark will manage.

Hegeman brings over twenty years of experience in sales management, marketing and real estate development for companies such as Blackstone, Valencia Hotel Group, Bourn Partners, Intrawest, Hilton Hotels Corporation, Preferred Hotels and Resorts Worldwide and Hilton International. She is a graduate of Stanford University with a degree in Human Biology and Journalism.

Mr. Bunce brings twenty-five years of management experience in all facets of resort, conference, hotel, and condo/rental management and has been recognized for performance excellence in nearly every discipline of the hospitality industry. His operations, sales, marketing and revenue management experience includes leading multi-unit resorts and hotels where he successfully exceeded profitability, quality, and revenue goals and has led a track record of success in city center, conference, mountain and beach locations. In addition, he has managed multi-unit food and beverage operations, opening hotels, and hotel conversions.

Prior to creating EpicenterSpark Hospitality, Scott served as Vice President, Western Territory for ResortQuest International where he was responsible for over 3000 Condos and Luxury Vacation Homes, 65 HOA’s, 4 real estate offices, in 11 of the top North American ski resort locations, improving EBITDA by 200%.

While at Intrawest Destination Resorts as Vice President Sales & Revenue Management, he worked on numerous programs that attributed to increasing productivity by 27% per sales associate, improving sales efforts via structured training courses, developing and executing a branded sales approach and revamping the national sales force. These efforts contributed to stellar revenue growth that continuously, out-performed the industry benchmarks.

Scott has extensive international experience. At Hilton International, as Vice President Sales & Marketing of the The America’s, his responsibilities were focused on revenue maximization of hotels throughout Canada, South America, and the Caribbean. The organization totaled well over $65 million in EBITDA, with over 250 people employed under Mr. Bunce.

As Vice President of Revenue Management for Radisson SAS Hotels & Resorts/Rezidor, Scott created and was responsible for the revenue maximization of over 100 hotels throughout Europe, and the Middle East, totaling over $600 million. His experience in international markets included developing new and existing distribution channels via Global Distribution Systems, electronic & on-line booking vehicles and improving web site and new E-commerce opportunities, development and implementation of company pricing and business mix strategies throughout Europe.
